   I designed it to fail, then I demoed it to 150 AWS partners

   I designed a reusable CDK demo simulating issues (SSL misconfigurations, timeouts, deployments, version drift) and presented it to 150+ partner managers, solutions architects and engineers.

   Using GitLab runners as an AWS CodePipeline build provider

   A customer wanted to build their application on GitLab while keeping AWS CodePipeline for source and deployment, so I designed a custom build stage that hands each commit to a GitLab hosted runner and returns the result to AWS.

   Keeping App Runner traffic private with a VPC endpoint

   I built a containerised Node.js sample that sends App Runner's outbound requests to SQS through a VPC endpoint. This was requested for public release by the App Runner development team.
